Graduated from the University of Malta in 2003, Dr Andre Gatt completed 7 years of specialist radiology training in Scotland within the UK NHS and was appointed Consultant Radiologist in 2012. He is the resident radiologist and one of the founding partners of LifeScan.mt, where he leads and oversees all medical imaging services. His areas of practice include adult and paediatric ultrasound, breast imaging, bone density assessment (DEXA), image-guided biopsies, and the reporting of CT and MRI studies. Dr Gatt is in attendance at LifeScan.mt on a daily basis, ensuring continuity of care and direct consultant involvement.
Dr Geraldine Dean is a British-trained, GMC-registered Consultant Radiologist with subspecialty expertise in musculoskeletal imaging. She graduated from the University of Malta and has over 17 years of experience working in the UK. Dr Dean has extensive experience in MRI, CT and ultrasound imaging of: - Joints and bones - Muscles and soft tissues - Rheumatological conditions (including adult and adolescent arthritis) - Sports and overuse injuries She also performs ultrasound-guided procedures, including joint injections, aspirations and other image-guided interventions.
