Ultrasound of the testicles, scrotum and surrounding structures.€135
Scan of prostate, kidneys and assessment of bladder emptying. €160
Full abdomen, kidneys, bladder, prostate and testicular scan.€170
Provides detailed images of the testicles and surrounding structures. Useful for identifying abnormalities such as tumours before they can be felt externally, and for assessing scrotal pain or swelling.
Often used alongside a PSA blood test for early detection of prostate problems. High PSA levels are not always linked to cancer — an enlarged prostate or inflammation can also be responsible. Prostate ultrasound allows us to measure prostate size and check for irregularities, helping to establish what a normal PSA level may look like for each individual. For more information, see the [Cancer.gov PSA Fact Sheet].
Assesses bladder health and can detect stones, tumours, or urinary retention. Particularly useful in investigating frequent or painful urination and lower abdominal discomfort. A post-void residual assessment can also confirm whether the bladder is emptying completely.
Examines kidney structure and can identify conditions such as stones, cysts, or tumours, providing essential information about renal health.
Suitable for both men and women. In men, breast ultrasound is used to assess breast enlargement (gynaecomastia), palpable lumps, or nipple discharge, helping to distinguish benign changes from those requiring further investigation.
Evaluates the thyroid gland and surrounding neck structures, including lymph nodes. Useful for assessing thyroid nodules, enlargement, or other abnormalities. While thyroid nodules are less common in men than in women, they carry a higher rate of malignancy when they do occur — making assessment all the more worthwhile.
