How do we schedule the subsequent scans?
You book the first scan using the widget above. To book your second and third scans, select the "Pre-Paid Follow-up (3-Scan Package) - Whole body composition" option, which appears after the 3-Scan Package in the list of scan options. Alternatively, our team can guide you when you come to the clinic for your scan.
Can I share the package with a friend?
No, this tracking package is registered to a single person to generate accurate progress comparisons over time.
How long is the package valid?
There is no time restriction on using your DEXA package. We understand that monitoring your progress may take place over several years, so you can use your scans when they are most useful to you.
Even after 3 years, we will still do our best to honour any unused scans. However, we cannot guarantee that there wouldn't have been some changes to the DEXA technology or service availability, and therefore cannot be held responsible if we are unable to provide the same type of scan.
Can I claim this on my health insurance?
Your insurer may require a referral letter from your GP or another doctor who is not the radiologist you are seeing before they will reimburse the visit. If you plan to claim, please check with your insurer before your appointment, as claims without a valid referral may be declined.
