Preparation & Blood Thinner Guidelines
- Blood Thinners: Please inform us if you are taking blood-thinning medications (such as Warfarin, Aspirin, or Apixaban), as you may need to pause them before the biopsy.
- Post-Care: Rest the area and avoid heavy lifting, strenuous exercise, or swimming for 48 hours after the procedure.
- Results Time: Biopsy samples are sent to pathology. Histopathology reports typically take 7 working days to complete.
