A paediatric X-ray uses a very low dose of digital radiation to capture images of your child's bones, joints, or chest. Because children's tissues are developing, we take special precautions to keep radiation doses as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA). - Duration: The exposure takes less than a second, and the entire appointment is completed within 10 to 15 minutes.
