Abdomen & Pelvis Check
Upper & Lower Organs
We perform a thorough evaluation of the following organs:
- Liver, Gallbladder, Pancreas, and Spleen
- Kidneys and Urinary Bladder (including post-void residual volume)
- Uterus and Ovaries (Women) or Prostate Gland (Men)
Neck & Thyroid Screen
Superficial Organs
We expand the scan to evaluate neck structures:
- Thyroid Gland (screening for nodules, cysts, or enlargement)
- Salivary Glands (checking submandibular and parotid glands)
- Cervical Lymph Nodes (assessing for abnormal swelling)
Fasting & Bladder Filling Required
- Fasting: Please do not eat or drink anything (except plain water) for at least 4 hours before your appointment to minimize bowel gas.
- Full Bladder: Drink 500ml of plain water 45 minutes prior to your scan, and do not empty your bladder before the scan starts.
- Duration: This comprehensive check-up takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
